Acupressure is one of the most underrated practice, even though it has several major benefits.
Acupressure is an ancient healing art that’s based on the traditional Chinese medicine practice of acupuncture. With acupressure, you put pressure on specific places on your body. These places are called acupoints. Pressing these points can help release muscle tension and promote blood circulation. It can also relieve many common side effects of chemotherapy.
Acupuncture is well-known for inducing a relaxation response. These acupoints focuses on the channels and speaks with the sensory system to trigger the arrival of the happy vibes. In Chinese Medicine hypothesis, feelings and mental capacities are seen as parts of qi (the body's essential energy) and blood. Revising the development of qi and blood in the meridians takes balance back to the psyche, body, and soul.
1. HALL OF IMPRESSION POINT - Pressure point also called Yin Tang, is located at the midpoint between your eyebrows. Doing acupressure on this point can help relieve stress and anxiety.

2. HEART 7 (HT-7) “SPIRIT GATE” - Location: on the inner wrist crease, towards the ulnar (little finger) side. Feel for a hollow at the base of the pisiform bone. The “source point” on the heart channel, where the vital energy of the heart organ system gathers. Quiets the mind and settles worry/anxiety eases emotional distress with sleep disturbances; releases chest tightness and heart palpitations.

3. SHOULDER WELL POINT - The shoulder well point is in your shoulder muscle. This pressure point is said to help with relieving stress, muscle tension, and headaches. It can also induce labor, so don’t use this point if you’re pregnant.

4. LIVER 3 (LR-3) “GREAT SURGE” - Situated on the foot, between the first and second toes, about an inch away from the web of the toes. Relieve anger, stress, and irritability. Regulates the flow of qi and blood everywhere in the body to release tension and treat pain. An important point to treat menstrual and digestive conditions worsened by stress, as well as headaches.
